  • High Availability & Intelligent Failover Protection
    MLBS provides maximum uptime and high connection availability by protection against WAN outages. MLBS monitors the health of each WAN connection and automatically activates backup links when a failure is detected.

  • Multi-homing & Outbound Load Balancing
    Designed for companies to get more use of their bandwidth when using multiple WAN links from the same/different ISPs over different access technologies, MLBS can be used to combine Leased Lines and Digital Subscriber Lines to meet specific performance cost requirements.

    Example 1: DSL broadband can be added to a Leased Line nework setup for additional bandwidth, increased performance, or as an affordable backup link (see illustration).

    Example 2: As an alternative to expensive Leased lines, LBS can be used for load balancing and efficient traffic distribution across multiple DSL Broadband lines (see illustration).

  • Route Control
    A Route Control option is available for traffic management between critical mission servers and ordinary Internet traffic.
