Configuration Guide

Once you download the software, please configure your browser settings to activate your Speed Booster service.

PC Browser Configuration

Please select your browser to view the configuration Guide:

Internet Explorer Browser Settings
Launch Internet Explorer, click on Tools menu and select Internet Options.

Select the Connections tab. Under the Dial-up settings , highlight Pacnet dialer and click on the Settings button.

3. Under Proxy server , check Use a proxy server and enter these settings:

Address: speedbooster.pacific.net.sg 
Port: 8080

Click on the OK button to return to the previous dialog box.

Select the Advanced tab. Under the HTTP 1.1 settings, check Use HTTP 1.1 and Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections.

5. Click on the Apply and OK buttons to exit from the setup.

Internet Explorer Prompt

Everytime you launch your IE browser, Internet Explorer will prompt for your dial in userid and password. Below is a screenshot of the prompt.

Netscape Browser Settings

Launch Netscape Communicator, click on Edit menu and select Preferences.

Under the Category, double-click on the Advanced and select Proxies. Select Manual proxy configuration option and click View.

Type in the following setting and click on the OK button.

4. Click on the OK button to exit from the setup.

Netscape Prompt

Everytime you launch your browser Netscape will prompt for your Pacnet user id and password. Below is the screenshot of the prompt.

1. Launch Internet Explorer, click on Edit menu and select Preferences.

2. Scroll down the menu list and click on Network/Proxies . Under the Use Proxy Servers , change the settings as shown below and click on the Settings button.

3. Under Web Proxy Settings , enter the following settings:

4. Click on the OK button to return to the previous dialog box.

5. Click on the OK button to complete the setup.

Netscape Browser Settings

1. Launch Netscape Communicator, click on Edit menu and select Preferences..

2. Scroll down the menu list and click on Advanced/Proxies. Select Manual proxy configuration option and click the Configure button.

3. Type in the following setting and click on the OK button.

4. Click on the OK button to exit from the setup.
